The Fox

I went up to Brundage early Monday morning to catch a ride up the chairlift.  The area is closed, but there was some maintenance on the chairlift happening early that morning, and I was able to hitch a ride up so I could work on the internet connection, the webcam and the weather station on top of the mountain.  I even took my dog Nikki up the lift.  This little fox had a den under the mountain top yurt.  Evidently she had kits there, as she stayed close by and kept "barking/howling" at Nikki.  A fox will do this to try and get the dog to chase it, thus leading it away from then den.  Unfortunately for little miss fox, Nikki has been trained to NOT chase animals, which she is usually pretty good at.  So here's a shot of the fox sitting on snow bank with a very interesting expression.

We did have a nice ski down :)
